It was all begun at small “Pid” club in Metro Pondok Indah in 1987 where regular small gigs gathered within supporting bands. Sucker Head was born among those exciting community by the good hands of Irvan Sembiring (Guitar), Krisna J. Sadrach (Bass), and Yaya Wacked (Voice) cited Kreator as major influence. The unique name was picked from the Sweden matchbox brand, Sakerhets-Tandstickor.

Irvan was left in 1992 to pursue his own band, Rotor, the unparalleled extreme metal band in 90ies period, that has always been a shock therapy in Indonesian metal scene as well as what Morbid Angel have done. As common maturity process, Sucker Head members replaced back and forth such as Robin Hutagaol (Grausig) noted as one drummer that contributed to the band which was replaced by longtime dedicated drummer until now, Bakar Bufthaim.

1995 was the year of Sucker Head hotshot debut, “The Head Sucker” released by major label Aquarius Musikindo. It was successfully craved Sucker Head in fame stonewall showed by contract signing for few future albums with Aquarius, “Manic Depressive”, “Paranatural”, “10th Agresi” and “Strip Hitam”.

Incredibly more than 15 years of career keeping the track in thrash metal line truly cemented Sucker Head as one of phenomenal band Indonesian metalheads have to proud of. Notably achievements included Monster of Rock tour in 2002, Helloween opening act in February 2004 and Soundrenaline main performer December 2004.

After long exhausted tour in 2002, Sucker Head has written some materials for upcoming album. 24 arrangements were written and selected into fully arranged 16 basic songs. Four best songs were chosen and mastered given to Aquarius label for negotiation. Unsatisfied with highly sales targeted by Aquarius, Krisna, Sucker Head’s bassist/vocalist brought Sucker Head into his own label Krossover/RotorCorp, an independent label with nationwide distribution deal with Musica Studios. Finally, 11 songs were recorded in full digital domain titled “Hipertensi”.

With his busy work in Krossover/RotorCorp, Krisna actively seeds new breeders in heavy metal industry by frequently releasing metal compilation album filled by unsigned but talented underground bands, “Metalik Klinik” series as well as full album projects from the bands under his label. “We’ve dealt with more than 100 bands with total of more than 50 albums to date. We pretty much like a bridge to fill the gap between the bands, major label and other parties. We want underground bands receive nationwide attention even by a single in a compilation”, Said Krisna. To name a few popular artists hailed by Krossover/RotorCorp were Trauma, Tengkorak, 7Kurcaci, and so on.
