Hate album concept is heavier and fuller than “Hatred”, since we have employed two guitar riffs to build harmony, so the solo and rhythm together fulfill the song structure. We also trying to approach more technical stuff on the next release”, said Innu, the frontman and mastermind.

Described themselves as “Symphonichaos Gorechestra Brutal Death Metal”, they cement the foundation in death metal underground scenes since early 1997 as a follow-up after Necropolis and Inner dismissal.
Killharmonic name arise from Philharmonic Orchestra, taken the Phil out into Kill, these band surely knows how to set killing harmonic melodies textured upon blatantly brutal chaotic rhythm riff and thundering kick-ass bass-drumbeats to layer low-end growling gore-throaty style vocal. Lyric themes inspired widely ranging from war brutality to politics and daily lives observed from magazines, TV news and such. The band has been gigging around Java island for fest and underground events, to name a few, Kediri total extreme, Surabaya amuk, Malang musicfest, Madiun underground mild, Surabaya metal hammerfest, Purwodadi peacefest, Salatiga unlogic scream, and so on.

Current formation force built by Innu (frontman, songwriter, lead guitarist, ex Necropolis & Inner), Ongky (drums, ex Slowly Terror), Alex (bass, ex Slowly Terror/Fastination), Wawan (throat, ex Tenggorokan –yeah what a name-), and Romi (2nd Guitarist, Ex No Front). See picture above, “Hate That Never Set” line-up: L-R: Innu, Alex, Wawan, Ongky, Romi. Innu is the mastermind behind Killharmonic. He’s duties including songwriting (shared with Yoseph-ex bassist), lead & rhythm riffs, harmonic licks, bass lines; even most of the drum beat patterns are coming out from his energetic brain and inexhaustible creative mind-set.

Innu’s interest in death metal began when he was at 6th grade of elementary school by founding metal-lover club surrounds his playmates. Supported by his father, which is jazz, oldies and progressive rock musician, Innu raised in encouraging environment to sharpen his skill and develop his own style of guitar playing since high school. Killharmonic major influences including Mortal Decay, Sepultura, Creator, Malmsteen, Pantera, Cacophony, Vile, Cryptosy, Suffocation, Dream Theater and alike. Such melodic-thrash multiplexing prolific genres shaping Killharmonic sound to become artistic, old-school nuances progressive death metal band.

While Innu supports his living by work in Internet Café and Game Center, other members pursuing academic interest and get educated in the college as well as working out in skateboarding. Still, they have time to work together composing songs for forthcoming album, which promised to be more technical, heavier and mind twisting. Innu also publishing e-zine called Dying Infos featuring foreign band, reviews, bio and interviews.

What about his daily life and interest? As brutally possible as his music? Don’t judge impulsively. “I listen to all music; pop, dangdut, campursari, classic jazz, etc. I love reading religious books, histories and music theory. I like Asterix cartoon and Lucky Luke as well as Indian movies, soap opera (telenovela) and sinetron”, confess Innu. Yeah, now you imagine how talented he is and where his inspiration coming from.
