 Surabaya, the 2nd largest city was a center of rock-o-meter for eastern Indonesia back in the 80ies. Now the city and its satellites including Gresik becomes the largest breeding farm for black metal spawns to grow and infest. One of them is Emptys, a fast sadistic black metal arose from Gresik who’s preparing their upcoming debut album after several works of compilation album and video.
Founded 2000 with initial lineup Yudi (vocal), Anamy (guitar) Anthony (bass) and Steef (drums), Emptys force which currently filled by Yudi, Warmageddon (guitar), Ivan (bass) and Anamy (drums) are quite busy with musical activities supporting underground local scenes in Surabaya and other cities including Kediri, Madiun, Semarang, Lamongan and Mojokerto.
With playing style referred as fast sadism black metal, Emptys has five songs written for upcoming studio session namely Everlasting Grudge, Grim Slanders, Api Amarah, Desember Maha Sadis and The Crushed Wisdom which is included in “Surabaya Extreme Metal” compilation album.
